Ask HN: Any good replacements for "Refined Hacker News?"

Yesterday my browser updated and turned off "Refined Hacker News." It was a very minimalist plugin that made some minor UI changes to Hacker News that I miss. (It turned the upper-right username into a drop-down, and allowed in-line replies to comments.)

Are there any replacements for that plugin? I tried a different plugin that has similar features (won't name), but it makes too many cosmetic changes, and, IMO, leaves Hacker News looking too ugly.

    the addon also seems to support firefox, switching the browser could be a solution

      I don't switch browsers just for one site.

      Besides, (and I know this is an assumption,) it appears the problem is the API that Refined Hacker News was written to. I suspect Firefox will also end-of-life the API soon.
