    Lucky to be tried in the UK, because there's no death penalty.

    The language around UK Seizure of the assets is .. open to interpretation. A lot of scammed Chinese investors will be upset if the UK gov does not repatriate the profits to them. It read as if, the UK gov gets to decide IF THEY APPLY if they will re-imburse.

    $58B is a lot of money. It can be read as "the UK gov has decided to fix it's balance of payments problem in a novel way"

    Seriously though, how do people end up living such bizarre lives as this. I'd love to like get a tape of their lives and just study it, how does such an existence work.
