Is this better than looptube.xyz , YouXube.io, LooperTube, RepeatTube, YouTubeLoop or any of the other hits for “loop youtube”?

You can register and save the clips and videos in your account. It's pretty inconvenient to recreate the loops for every practice. Also, another feature I was missing is the customizable pause between loops to have time to repeat. Of course, you can do this by pressing replay on the keyboard, but if you are practicing an instrument you don't want your hands busy in anything else than the instrument

I like the micro-adjustment on that first one. It's still limited (I assume by frames?) but easier for me to use than dragging to get an exact frame.

OP might be interested in youglish.com which, despite the name, is great for learning a bunch of languages. You tell it the word and target language, and it finds videos and plays the correct part. Looping included!

I love youglish! Actually part of this project inspiration comes from Youglish :)

Can't this be approximated by using the share feature with timestamp, pasting the URL and then just reloading the page each time you want to loop? Not as convenient, but a bit less overhead.

that's a good hack! However, I find it pretty important to have an uninterrupted flow during my practices. In loopingtube.com you have a list of all the clips on the side, you can seamlessly move between them with hotkeys. You don't have the overhead of changing between a list of links you manually saved. Also, I implemented a pause between loops of customizable length, where you have time to repeat.

Great idea. How can I determine the loop position and length? (Tried this on iOS Safari)

thanks! well, I haven't tried it in iOS. I tried to make it responsive but it works best on desktop. You have two ways, you can change the bottom or top clip timestamps with the - + buttons on each timestamp marker (under the video). Or you can use the slider
